We are using SAP Sales cloud for managing our customer data and prospecting, It has been a great tool with no. of features which are useful for any team, It can be customized as per the business needs, it can be easily integrated with nay other software and tool. We can easily use it in our mobile too. It has increased the productivity of our sales team. The reports and analytics it provides help our team take better decision and it ended up increasing the revenue.
  • Easy Integration
  • Reports and Analytics
  • Customization
  • Expensive
  • Not suitable for small business
  • Difficult to integrate with Non SAP products
For a big sales team it's a perfect tool since it can perform every function, but if the lead flow is less this tool is bit expensive since it has got so many features which might not be useful for a small team. Also it's an expensive tool so where the business is big this is well suited but for a small team it's bit expensive.

SAP Sales Cloud plays a vital role as a versatile Sales CRM platform, tackling issues related to lead engagement, sales cycle optimization, and data management. Notable features include customizable reporting, effective lead and prospect management, and seamless integration with various sales tools, contributing to a more streamlined and efficient sales process.

SAP Sales Cloud effectively meets our current requirements and demonstrates scalability for potential expansion. While not perfect, it offers a close-to-ideal solution. The integration of SAP cloud analytics is user-friendly, supporting teams without scalability or integration challenges. We're contemplating extending its use to more departments, anticipating improved analytics, operational efficiency, and overall positive impacts on sales and revenue, along with enhanced customer collaboration and vendor management.

Our organization uses SAP Sales Cloud as our main tool to track all the commercial actions and customer interactions that could finish with a sale. In that way, Sales Cloud lets us know how the monthly sales should be close to the average of win sales opportunities and take action with opportunities we lose and why. For our Sales Department it's helpful to track and manage all the opportunities with activities they should do to close the sale.
  • Manage opportunity influencers like promotors and detractors.
  • Manage customers information.
  • 360 customer view.
  • Sales forecast.
  • Manage sales lifecycle.
  • Mobile app too heavy and slow.
  • Mobile app user interface.
  • Improve web execution.
  • User friendly surveys.
Implementation process including integration with other SAP solution may take time but at the end, it works well. Integration between Quotations and Sales Orders works well if you mantain sales price list updated or if the price is resolved by your ERP integrated with Sales Cloud. Other way, reports for managers to track their sales team are usefull to have a full view of what your team is working and how it's progressing. The Sales Target Planning in SAP Sales Cloud for our organization is difficult to track because we can not see real sales, just pronostics sales.

We majorly use SAP sales cloud as a end to end complete Sales CRM platform. Establishing connections with leads, maintaining sales cycle data like demos given, quotation shared etc., and drawing customer insights is done via SAP sales cloud for us. We were finding it difficult to track the entire sales cycle and sales performance through an unified central platform, but with the help of SAP Sales cloud, we are now able to achieve it.
  • The lead and prospect management module of SAP sales cloud is very comprehensive good.
  • The ability to customize reports are very helpful and handy.
  • Integration with other sales tools is holistic and seamless
  • The offline syncing functionality could be greatly improved
  • Accessing SAP sales cloud on mobile devices is a bit of a challenge.
  • Tracking the version history is not very accurate sometimes.
Establishing connections and engaging with leads and potentials is very simple and straightforward with SAP sales cloud. There are a lot of default email templates that are available which can be leveraged. Also, a level of automation is provided which saves a lot of time for us. We can define rules and workflows for new leads which helps us engagement with them at all times.

SAP's sales cloud platform is incredibly beneficial for businesses due to its use of a pipeline analogy to manage tasks, detect and address potential process issues, and automate various tasks. This automation includes intelligent sales prioritization, guided selling, improved sales forecasting, and more. As a result, your company gains access to a wealth of historical data and predictive tools, enhancing the overall sales performance.
  • Administration of Prospects, Quotations, and Leads.
  • view all client data within the ERP system.
  • Configurable Approval Workflow with management Control.
The product is suitable for companies with a minimum of 15 salespeople or more. It may not be the best fit for customers seeking basic CRM tools and account management only. SAP Sales Cloud is particularly effective in handling intricate sales processes by integrating marketing tools and comprehensive business operations into a unified platform, centralizing all client data and interactions.

I use SAP for the features of lead management, analytics, sales automation, and AI-powered recommendations. It helps my business by providing smooth and robust sales automation and process optimization. However, the sales forecasting and pipeline management features of SAP Sales Cloud are the most useful features to me. SAP Sales Cloud helps me to organize and optimize my whole sales system.
  • It is efficient in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Its CRM is very comprehensive and easy to go.
  • It provides nice collaboration between sales teams and customer engagement.
  • I think user interface should be little clean.
  • There should be more third party email integration.
  • Mobile user experience of on-the-go sales representatives should be smoother.
If any small or medium organization searches for an efficient CRM, I think SAP Sales Cloud is the ultimate solution. Even for smooth Sales Automation, Forecast Optimization, Sales Team Management, Lead management, and customer engagement, it is the perfect solution. But for a very tiny organization with very low turnover, SAP Sales Cloud may no be well suite,

We use SAP to maintain sales pipeline details. The details include information like previous interactions and discussions, package offering to potential clients. These details also helps other stakeholders in the organisation to get accurate data about the potential customers. With all the data, sales forecasting is easier. Data such as new leads, quotes shared, current stage etc are maintained. SAP makes the data much easier to organize and analyze.
  • Automating repetitive processes
  • Organizing the lead details in structured sales pipeline like new leads, last contact date, quotes shared etc
  • Integration with other platforms has helped in saving a lot of time
  • Analytical tools that helps in analyzing the data very efficiently
  • Presence of a lot of analytics can sometimes confuse new users
  • The interface is very heavy and it makes the platform slow to load
I interact with a lot of customers every week and SAP helps me to maintain all my discussion and details with these customers. Entering new lead information, sending quotations multiple times, previous discussions and other information helps me to track all my leads very effectively

I have used SAP CRM in order to manage my database of clients and customers. It is an efficient way to see, on a daily basis, what the key tasks and activities I need to focus on in order to hit my KPIs and generate a pipeline. It is also an effective way for me to track my ongoing opportunities and see where I should lean in and focus my time to maximize performance. The business problem that it solves is that it allows me to focus on sales and on activities that will drive toward sales.
  • Track Prospects.
  • Track Pipeline.
  • Clean UI.
  • Mobile
  • Slow to process.
I think SAP CRM would be suitable for any situation in which you need an effective system for tracking clients and customers. My recommendation would be if you have a Salesforce of at least 50 people and are at least 50+ in revenue, then it would be worthwhile to consider leveraging SAP. At a smaller company, there are likely more cost-effective options.

We use SAP for a few reasons. We were looking to drive innovation as well as revenue growth. It also has the capability to improve our customer relationships. We weren't able to keep on top of our customer service needs as well before implementing SAP Sales Cloud. It has greatly improved many of our processes.
  • We can get all our reports in one platform.
  • The collaboration between teams.
  • There are great customization capabilities.
  • Occasionally, the loading time can be slow.
  • The training was a bit arduous, but once you get the hang of the process, it's pretty easy.
  • The customer service tickets could be responded to a bit faster.
The amount of automation you can use SAP Sales Cloud for is great. It streamlines many of our other software's processes. We use Hubspot as well as Sales Cloud and they work great together. It has greatly enhanced our ability to collaborate between sales and marketing. The analytics we can draw between the two has helped us put more prospects into our pipeline.

We want to use an easy solution to integrate to our large catalog of products with a easy way to buy and deliver for our clients without worry about integration issues and other engineering things. We found SAP Sales Cloud integrate easy with our daily operations and integration takes to our development 6 months less that we planned at start. Definitely we found a correct solution but the price is very high compared with other solutions in the market and the features is not at all that SAP Sales Cloud talks. Currently we search third-party solutions for increase speed, reduce costs and increase value for our clients.
  • easy to integrate for developers with current solutions
  • learning curve medium, all employees understand but takes time and effort
  • complex to understand analytics but good approach with headdache issues
  • Business units complex, employees need much time for understand platform
  • Integration "as-is" is very easy, but on-premise tools required hard work for integrate
  • Price is very high, we think in favor of other platforms in the cloud
SAP Sales Cloud is good to use for expert users but requires that IT department, OPS and Support understand the way in the SAP Sales Cloud manage data structure, technian information and cloud. You can use very easy if your department or company wants to acquire all the units of SAP, paying more that initially your company thinks and forcing to adopt other modules that you dont need wasting money and time.

SAP Sales Cloud streamlines sales by automating tasks like quote generation, order management, and pipeline monitoring. This boosts sales team efficiency, ensuring a smoother and more efficient sales process.
  • Mobile Accessibility: The mobile app of SAP Sales Cloud allows users to access critical data and perform tasks while on the go. This is particularly valuable for sales representatives in the field who can update information, check leads, and manage customer interactions from their mobile devices.
  • Quote-to-Cash Automation: The platform seamlessly manages the entire quote-to-cash process. It automates the creation of sales quotes, tracks orders, and ensures that the fulfillment process aligns with the customer's expectations. This reduces errors, accelerates sales cycles, and enhances customer satisfaction.
  • Cost and Licensing: Pricing for SAP Sales Cloud can be high, especially for smaller businesses. More flexible and cost-effective licensing options or scaled-down versions for small businesses could help expand its user base.
  • Real-time Collaboration: Enhanced real-time collaboration features could be valuable for teams working together on sales deals, enabling smoother communication and collaboration within the platform.
SAP Sales Cloud is well-suited for large enterprises requiring robust CRM solutions to manage intricate sales processes, customer relationships, and in-depth data analytics. It excels in organizations prioritizing precise sales forecasting, streamlined quote-to-cash automation, and advanced lead management. However, it might not be the best fit for smaller businesses with budget limitations due to its pricing. Additionally, companies seeking a more straightforward, user-friendly CRM solution with less emphasis on customization and integration features may find SAP Sales Cloud less appropriate.

We use SAP Sales to manage the A-Z of our B2B sales operations. Every lead we generate goes through it, and our other systems are integrated to it to log conversations across different mediums. We also use the automated workflows and sequences very actively to:

1. Automate time-consuming sales processes
2. Provide a faster/better sales experience to our leads
3. Expand our ability to reach out to more prospects
  • The custom properties are very helpful. We've utilized these a lot to boost our automations
  • Managing our pipelines is pretty straightforward and largely error-free
  • There are A/B test options for a lot of things, which helps us bring in data to things like email sequences to easily find the better one
  • It doesn't support associating properties with each other except for contact-company-deal records
  • It's priced much higher than other CRM tools
I think SAP Sales Cloud is suitable for large or growing companies with weak/no CRM system. We first implemented it to uplift our growing sales operations, and it's done a fantastic job at that. It might not be 100% for you if you don't have the scale that requires an SAP tool, or if you already have one of the big CRM tools

We at Rapidops are using SAP CX package for one of our associate business verticals, SAP has helped us with our marketing and e-commerce needs. The other vertical in which SAP CX has helped us is with customer service and other related areas of sales cloud functions. It has intended to assist our organization in improving our sales processes and outcomes while delivering a unified and consistent customer experience across a variety of touchpoints.
  • Sales Automation Journeys
  • Deal and Opportunity Management
  • Customer Experience Engagement
  • Integrations with CMS
  • Integration with Products like Experro
  • Headless CMS and robust campaign management
  • VAT Reporting and Integrations with Payment gateways like Stripe
SAP comes into the picture where most of the SAAS applications failed as they are not a true 360-degree platform. The SAP Sales Cloud has helped us with lead/inquiry management. The post process involves deal/opportunity management, with sales and revenue forecasting using goal management reports across the sales team. The sales teams have been able to operate more productively and concentrate on high-value activities as a result.
There is nothing less appropriate but it is true that integration requires effort and implementation requires serious documentation but it is for the betterment of adoption I would say.

At my company, we utilize SAP Sales Cloud to help improve the accuracy of our forecast models. SAP Sales Cloud is very useful for identifying potential risks and opportunities, especially when we work with a large array of clients, and are constantly on boarding new clients and mediums for sales. The artificial intelligence features of SAP Sales Cloud are extremely helpful in predicting our forecasts.
  • SAP Sales Cloud is particularly useful for improving forecast accuracy.
  • SAP Sales Cloud provides recommendations for optimization based on their AI features and the feedback of users.
  • SAP Sales Cloud offers an individual yet unified view of each customer.
  • Some may find the interface a bit outdated.
SAP Sales Cloud is extremely useful when it comes to forecasting. The AI features that SAP offers are second to none. I have used SAP Sales Cloud in two instances: as a corporate sales executive for a Fortune 500 company and as an independent consultant embedded in the go-to-market team of a client. There are nuances between the two use cases I mentioned. However, the top-level goals were the same: close more business by having more pipeline visibility while saving time and manual work for salespeople.
  • Pipeline mangement
  • Sales automation
  • Tasks orchestration
  • Feature overwhelm
  • Learning curve
  • Integrations may require technical support
SAP Sales Cloud, in my opinion, is not for small sales organizations. Its cost is an apparent reason for this, but beyond that, it's designed to work in organizations where leads are abundant, deals are significant, and things tend to go through the cracks. As SAP has multiple ERP solutions, like Customer Service or Procurement modules, these types of integrations are valuable to generate insights; as in big companies, it's common to be a vendor and a client of the same company, so here, this tool shines.

The main challenge was to accurately forecast the sales as there was no intelligence in pipeline management.

Even after heavily investing time on manual data entries, predicting the revenue was largely a guessing game.

I started using SAP sales cloud for better visibility of all leads and the actions taken by my team on the same to move it ahead. Also, built in tools helped me in forecast in a better way by looking through several stages of deals.
  • Guided selling helped ramping up execs faster.
  • Detailed analysis on pipeline helped with forecasting
  • Configurable analytics made it easy to quickly make sense of tons of data in the CRM
  • There is a significant learning curve for new users. Things could have been a little more intuitive.
  • Overview over sales campaigns is not holistic
  • Integration opportunities are limited with existing tools or takes a lot of time
Sales cloud is specifically suited for large sales team where collaboration over account or deals is a challenge. So a leader who wants to quickly analyse what's working and what's not in a specific deal or wants to identify a pattern, sales cloud is amply suited to do the same. Team performance management and coaching becomes a lot less painful as all the insights and analytics are at one place.

In our organization, SAP Sales Cloud is integral to our sales and customer relationship management processes. We use it for lead and opportunity management, contact and account organization, sales analytics, quotation and order processing, integration with other systems, mobile accessibility for remote sales representatives, customer communication tracking, pipeline management, task and activity management, customer support, customization to meet specific needs, user training and support, data security, and compliance. Our experience with SAP Sales Cloud has significantly improved our sales processes, customer relationships, and overall efficiency, making it a crucial component of our sales strategy.
  • Enterprise Sales Management: The platform helped manage a vast number of leads and opportunities efficiently, reducing manual work and errors.
  • Field Sales and Mobile Accessibility: Sales representatives could access customer information, leads, and order processing on their mobile devices while meeting with clients. This flexibility improved customer service, as representatives could provide immediate responses and updates.
  • User-Friendly Interface and Navigation: The platform can be complex and overwhelming, especially for new users. The system might benefit from a more intuitive and user-friendly design. Simplified menus and clearer icons would make it easier for sales professionals to quickly access the information they need.
  • Enhanced Mobile Functionality: more robust mobile app that offers all the features available in the desktop version would enable sales representatives to be more productive while on the go, whether they're at client meetings or working remotely.
  • Customization Flexibility: Greater customization options, especially when it comes to creating custom fields, workflows, and reports, would empower organizations to tailor the platform to their specific needs without relying heavily on third-party extensions.
Well-Suited Scenario:
SAP Sales Cloud is an ideal fit for large enterprises with intricate sales operations, emphasizing lead and opportunity management, extensive integration, and support for diverse customer bases. It excels in data-driven organizations, offering powerful analytics and reporting capabilities to drive informed decision-making. Moreover, its flexibility suits customization-intensive needs across various industries. Global companies benefit from its multi-language and multi-currency support, ensuring consistent sales processes. Complex sales cycles in sectors like manufacturing and B2B services are managed effectively with features for pipeline, quotations, and relationship management.

Less Appropriate Scenarios:
Smaller businesses, including SMBs, might find SAP Sales Cloud less suitable due to its complexity and cost, as simpler, budget-friendly CRM solutions are often a better fit. Limited IT resources can hinder effective SAP Sales Cloud implementation and maintenance. Quick CRM deployment needs may not align with the planning and customization involved. Highly mobile sales teams could prefer alternatives with more user-friendly and feature-rich mobile apps. Simpler sales processes may render SAP Sales Cloud overly intricate for businesses not fully leveraging its advanced features.

Within our company, we use this type of service/CRM to be able to efficiently manage sales data for each type of product that we offer, within each type of product we manage customer information as well as any dictional information that is related to the product or to the client.
  • manage product data
  • manage costumers
  • customization

  • add more guides to use it

SAP Sales Cloud is quite useful for situations in which you have to have information about customers and products together in the same place, and at the same time you can manage and consult it quickly and easily, when perhaps there is too much information to manage I think SAP Sales Cloud may not be so appropriate since its user-friendly interface prevents the handling of large volumes of data.

The software was used to store our customers and potential customers information. We needed to work on retention programs, so a CRM was definitely the go for this and SAP gave us the best tools. We didn't get a huge amount of leads, so we needed something simple and budget friendly.
  • Connect with third party apps
  • Pipeline forecasting
  • Automation workflows
  • Triggers could be more specific
  • Could have an onboarding module
  • The UI could be better
SAP Sales Cloud works well for small and medium sized businesses. It is ideal for businesses that don't receive a huge amount of deals daily.
Not appropriate for users who have non experience with CRMs before since the functions aren't too intuitive. But overall great software.
